Delaney was finally able to lose 168 pounds after spending time at Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live Retreat where she learned how to eat healfully and conquer her food addiction
I have been overweight for most of my life and struggled with food addiction and emotional eating. I tried several diets and spent time in weight loss camps while working with various healthcare professionals. I lost a lot of weight only to gain it back and return to my former poor eating habits.
My first semester at college was a total disaster, I was failing my classes and I was almost 400 pounds, bingeing on lots of processed junk foods. I was miserable in my own body. In April of 2020, I learned about Dr. Fuhrman’s Eat to Live Retreat. I spent several months there detoxing from unhealthy foods while gaining an increased understanding of the right foods to eat and the foods I needed and to finally conquer my food addiction.
When I returned home from the retreat, I continued to work with a health coach from Dr. Fuhrman’s staff. I am thrilled to say I lost 168 pounds and am close to my goal weight , but more importantly, I no longer suffer from food addiction and I no longer have the intense desire to binge on unhealthy junk foods.
