Julie lost 94 pounds in nine months and is enjoying excellent health along and renewed energy
I was 207 pounds and taking medications for thyroid, cholesterol, sleep, acid reflux and heartburn. In the past, the only way I was able to lose weight was to basically starve myself. But when I began regular eating again I gained back the weight and then some. A friend referred me to Dr. Fuhrman's website. After reading his information, I ordered many of his products and began changing my diet.
After almost five months, I went to the doctor and had blood work. The result was perfect levels and no medication was needed other than .05 thyroid med (was taking 75mg). The weight literally fell off and I had more energy than I had in the past fifteen years. I lost 94 pounds in nine months and have continued eating a Nutritarian diet. I have weighed 113 pounds for almost two years and am enjoying excellent health and energy. I have not had even a sniffle, much less any illness since January 2012. This has been the easiest life change I have ever made, and one that gave me the greatest ongoing results. My doctor thinks I ought to gain weight although I tell him I eat regularly and quite a lot of food, but not the bad food I use to eat.
Seems to me the weight charts are for the average Americans who indulge in meat, dairy, fast food, sugar and sodas rather than a Nutritarian diet. I simply reply if my blood work says I am in good health, and I am not getting sick, and I have plenty of energy, why I should eat the foods that put on weight and make me sluggish just to satisfy a weight chart. I have referred many to Dr. Fuhrman's site for information and motivation. Thank you for being here!
