Patricia lost 29 pounds and broke her addition to sugar
My weight and cholesterol levels continually increased over the past several years. While I tried to eat healthy food and exercise more, I knew that time had come to adopt a healthier lifestyle when my doctor started me in a statin drug in May 2021. My mother developed heart failure while being treated with statins and high blood pressure medications for several years – a situation that I wished to avoid.
I first learned of Dr Fuhrman and the Nutritarian lifestyle from seeing his programs on PBS and by reading his books. I was amazed by the scientific evidence to support the information, and it all made sense.
I have been strictly following this healthier lifestyle since May 2021. I have easily lost weight and feel more energized! The recipes are delicious and easy to make, with enough for leftovers, I do not need to cook every night. The most surprising thing for me was learning how addicted I was to sugars, but after a short time, I don’t miss eating the SAD.
