I lost a total of 28.6 pounds and I'm back in the normal BMI range!
In the last few years I put on weight due to a medication I was taking. I worked hard to improve my health enough to get off that medication and was finally ready to tackle the extra weight. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis along with Fibromyalgia and several other chronic and autoimmune conditions. I have gone from having inflammation in every joint to having it in only a couple finger joints at this time. My labs are improving! My mood has improved and my energy is better most days!
I didn't exercise exactly but I put good music on and danced every chance I got. As I lose more weight, my joints are feeling better so I'm able to start doing more. I plan to climb the Manitou Incline with my son on his 11th birthday in a few weeks!
In the last couple months of the challenge . . . I lost my life-long best friend unexpectedly, so It's been very tough. But I will keep pushing to improve my health so that I can give my 4 kids the best version of me for as long as possible.
