By following the Nutritarian program 100 percent Rich avoided having a stent as his cardioologist had advised
I started following the Nutritarian program because I was overweight and had high blood pressure with chest pain on exertion. A recent cardiac CTA scan showed moderate to severe stenosis in 3 coronary arteries. My cardiologist said I should have an angiogram immediately to have a stent placement in the RCA.
I refused the stent and also declined to go on statins. This was 6 weeks ago and I had chest pain at maximal exertion during my stress test. Several other doctors kept pushing me to go on statins. At that time, my stats were as follows: 175 pounds; blood pressure 135/85; total cholesterol 243; LDL 160; HDL 42; triglycerides.123. I committed to following Eat to Live 100 percent for the rest of my life. My current stats are as follows:155 pounds, total cholesterol 151, LDL 84, HDL 52, triglycerides 73, blood pressure 115/70. The only medication I’m on currently is aspirin 81 mg.
Also, my severe neck pain from arthritis is gone. I can run 3 miles without chest pain. My goal is to run 9-10 minute miles, currently 12 minutes/ mile. The results from Eat to Live have been life changing for me, what made the difference is doing it 100 percent.
