After I gave birth to my daughter, I realized I had gained 40 pounds. I had never been so heavy in my life. I wouldn't leave the house I became so deeply insecure and sad about the way I looked and felt. Thank goodness, I discovered veganism (reading Disease Proof Your Child) and plant based eating. My daughter is now 15 months and eats plant based as well. I was so scared about feeding her differently than anyone else I know, but I see her thriving and am so proud watching her eat veggies next to her cousin eating cheese quesadillas.
