Many individuals who follow the Nutritarian diet write to Dr. Fuhrman about their success. Keep in mind that results vary from person to person. As always, consult your physician if you have a medical history and/or condition that may warrant individual recommendations.
Mike lost 20 pounds, is off his psoriatic arthritis medication and says the benefits of a healthy diet keep coming
There are a lot of extreme stories shared on this site with amazing weight loss. Mine is not extreme by any means, but I feel that a larger portion of people could relate to my experience. My wife and I had just welcomed our second child, and she wanted to lose her pregnancy weight. She chose the Eat To Live method and asked me to join her. I felt like I didn't have any weight to lose as I had been hovering around 195 for years. I also suffer from high blood pressure and psoriatic arthritis.
After the first six weeks I lost my bloated belly and fifteen pounds. More importantly, I no longer needed the massive doses of naproxen to keep my arthritis in check. Now after a little over eight months, I am down to 175. I didn't realize that my blood pressure had dropped to normal until a recent routine doctor appointment. The benefits keep on coming. The hardest part is talking to people about Eat To Live and explaining that it isn't a diet per se, it's a way of life.
