Roasted Radishes and Turnips

Have you tried roasting radishes? They are more mellow than their raw counterparts and make a fun addition to any Nutritarian dinner.

Ingredients

2 cups radishes, trimmed and halved
2 cups small turnips, trimmed and halved
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup no-salt-added or low sodium vegetable broth
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
4 sprigs fresh dill
black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Combine ingredients in a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until tender.

What are you talking about?  There is no steaming in this recipe.
