Gregory's focus on following the Eat to Live program causes his blood sugar levels to drop!

I have taken very good care of myself over the past 23 years since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 33. I monitor my blood sugar levels closely (usually 6-8 times a day). I also owned a health food store back in the 60’s and those years have also influenced me to eat healthy.
My body fat percentage has never been more than 15%. I am currently at 183 lbs. My goal is to lose another 3 lbs this month with a goal weight of 175 lbs. I have cut my high blood pressure medicine in half and hope to be totally free of it when I obtain my goal weight.
I feel very motivated to continue with the Eat to Live program because I am so pleased with my results. My A1c is 6.2% — the lowest it’s ever been after only 3 months on the program. I hope to get my A1c at 5.9% by my next test.
I have strayed a few times, but I keep pretty close to the guidelines. I do eat more whole grains than I probably should, but I keep my blood sugar in line by being more active — weightlifting, aerobics, stretching, etc.
The Eat to Live program makes me very hopeful and enthusiastic about my future. If I can be of any help to others, I welcome the opportunity.
