David Dunaief, M.D.
David Dunaief, M.D. is a licensed internist specializing in Lifestyle medicine. His focus is on the interactions among conventional medicine, nutrition, stress management and fitness. Dr. Dunaief has worked with Dr. Fuhrman, assisting with patient care and investigative research involving the results of Dr. Fuhrman's high nutrient density diet with numerous diseases. Dr. Dunaief has had a lifelong passion for nutrition and fitness. He credits his self-designed rehabilitation program with helping him overcome the limitations of cerebral palsy. Dr. Dunaief received his medical degree from Stony Brook University Medical School in New York and completed his internship in internal medicine at Mercy Medical Center/University of Maryland in Baltimore. He graduated with high honors from Colgate University, where he received his B.A. in biology and religion. He is a member of the American Medical Association.

Michael Klaper, M.D. Dr. Klaper is a physician with training in surgery, anesthesiology, orthopedics, emergency room medicine and obstetrics and embraces high nutrient eating and Dr. Fuhrman's brand of nutritional excellence and natural healing. Dr. Klaper assists in answering questions on the Ask The Doctor forum. Dr. Klaper is the Director of the non-profit Institute of Nutrition Education and Research and has performed research on the pros and cons of vegan nutrition and other dietary styles of health enthusiasts. He also is a member of the Nutrition Task Force of the American Medical Student Association. |

Linda Popescu, MS, RD
Linda is a Registered Dietitian with graduate degrees in both Nutrition and Food Science. As Dr. Fuhrman's Research Assistant, she works with him on upcoming book projects and helps to investigate nutrition related topics. She has assisted Dr. Fuhrman in developing his nutrient density scoring system for foods and recipes. Linda is the "Vitamin Advisor" who answers supplement related questions for DrFuhrman.com.

Deana Ferreri, Ph.D.
Deana was trained as a research scientist in the field of cardiovascular physiology. While studying the cardiovascular system, she became interested in nutritional approaches for prevention and treatment of heart disease. After completing her degree, Deana wished to integrate her passion for nutrition with her background in science. Deana assists in answering questions on the Ask The Doctor Forum and writes research-supported articles for the Disease Proof blog and DrFuhrman.com.
